I am a class teacher in finance at LSE, for Professors G Connor and C Polk, both at the department of finance.  

This BSc course, titled "Principles of finance", is about the financial decision-making by firms and the behaviour of the capital markets which constitute the "environment" in which these decisions are taken.
Theory of capital budgeting, portfolio theory, equity and bond markets, the capital asset pricing model, efficient markets, sources of funds, basic theories of capital structure, company dividend decisions, are among the topics  that are covered.
